You should already know that privacy is a huge part of  MYB's identity, and if for some reason you lacked such knowledge, “high 5” you no longer do. Minding Your Business is not solely about not sticking your nose in other people’s business, but it speaks also to your responsibility to protect your business, because let’s be honest, we won’t save them all. Some still won’t show love, focus on there dreams nor drink water.

This Policy highlights how MYB Official LLC (the “Site” or “we”) gather and uses your Personal data when you visit or make your purchases from the Site.

Personal Data

When you visit mybofficialllc, we collect certain data regarding your interaction with/on the Site; information necessary to effectively process your purchases and if you contact us for customer support. All of which is to better serve you the merchants. Any data gathered about an individual’s identity is referred to as “Personal Data”. Please see below what Personal data is collected and why.

Device Data

    • Purpose: for accurate loading of the site to suit you the merchants, and to analyze site usage.
    • Collection sources: data is collected automatically when you visit myboficialllc.com using log- in files, cookies, web beacons, tags and/or pixels.
    • Disclosure for mybofficialllc purpose: to share with our processor Shopify (other future vendors)
    • Personal Data GATHERED: products viewed, popular search terms, web browser, time zone, IP address, cookie information, and interaction with the Site. 

More information

    • Purpose of collection: to determine future featured products and services to make those more accessible, to fulfill our objectives, effective communication with you the merchant, to effective process your payment information and arrange shipping details, and provide you with receipts and/or order confirmations, to screen our orders for potential fraud
    • Personal Data collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers [INSERT ANY OTHER PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED]), email address, and phone number.

 

Customer support Data

    • Purpose: to effectively resolve issues and/or concerns
    • Collection Sources: questionnaire, contact via email ( myf.business021@gmail.com )
    • Disclosure for a mybofficialllc.com Purpose: Our vendor used for customer support.
    • Personal Information collected: (Any information mentioned above to perform effective customer support.)

Minors

The Mybofficialllc site is not for individuals under the age of 18. Please know that it’s NOT our business to intentionally collect Personal Data from children. Mybofficialllc protects and only share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide quality services, might our objectives and effectively satisfy you the merchant, as mentioned above. For example:

  • If necessary, we share your Personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations, if a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information is received, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Advertising

Mybofficialllc uses Personal data to provide targeted advertisements and/or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

  • We use Instagram [@myb_officiallc] ( click bate, views, likes, repost and share) and Google Analytics to assist us in understanding how merchants use the Site.   • We share information regarding your activity on the website; your purchases, and your interaction with ads on other websites. We collect and share some of this information solely for advertising purposes directly with our advertising partners or on our social media handles. We also gather data to be shared via cookies or other similar technologies (which require your consent).

Usage of Personal Data

Mybofficialllc uses your personal data to provide you our merchants with quality services, which is inclusive of: promoting product sales, fulfillment of order (payment, shipping…), and products and services updates.

 

Basis of the Lawful

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we process your personal information under the following lawful bases:

  • Your consent
  • The performance of the contract between you and mybofficialllc.com
  • Compliance with our legal obligations
  • To protect your vital interests
  • For our legitimate interests, which do not override your fundamental rights and values

Retention

When you place an order on mybofficialllc.com, we retain your Personal data for our records, until you request for such to be erase. For more information on your right of erasure, please see the ‘Your rights’ section below.

Automatic decision-making

Resident of the EEA, have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (includes profiling), when decision-making has a legal effect or significantly affects that resident.

Please be advised that Mybofficialllc DO NOT engage in fully automated decision-making that have legal or significant effect using merchant’s data.

Shopify, our processor uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud, which does not have a legal or significant effect on our merchants.

Services that include automated decision-making are:

  • Temporary (hours) blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions.
  • Temporary (days) blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses.

Resident of the EEA, have the right to access their Personal data in our possession, to port it to a new service, and to request that their Personal data be updated, or erased. If at any time wish to exercise such rights, please contact us via the various medium provided at your disposal.  

One’s Personal data will be initially processed in Ireland and then will be transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including to Canada and the United States. Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information that will be downloaded to your device when you visit Mybofficialllc.com. Various cookies, including ads, performance, social media and/ or content cookies. As a result, merchants don’t have to re-enter this information each time they return to Mybofficialllc.com or browse from one page to another. Please be advised that there is no consistency in understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, Mybofficialllc does not adjust data collection and usage practices when detecting such a signal from merchant’s browser.
